Skill level: Beginner to Intermediate

Each student will execute and take home 1 bunny, 1 set bunny ears, 1 large carrot, 1 large egg and 1small egg and 1 small carrot.

You will learn the basics of lining, flooding your cookies. Do’s and Dont’s when preparing and handling your cookies. Tips and tricks to storing icing. You will learn about different consistencies and the proper one for certain techniques. You will learn how to achieve beautiful designs with layering techniques and painting with gold. Rachel will show you how to achieve beautiful dainty drop flowers and how to utilize petal dusts.

There will be a 30 minute intermission in between class so students can shop! Card or Checks only.

This class is packed with valuable tips, tricks and techniques! Each student will receive a class packet filled with recipes and so much more!

New Edible Dust Demonstration

Tuesday, April 16 at 6 PM - 8 PM CDT

Now selling a new Edible Dust! The owner of Doux Colors will be here to demonstrate his products and answer any questions you may have about coloring Chocolate, fondant or gumpaste.
The price of you admission includes a bottle of dust.
The demo starts at 6:00 pm and should last about an hour and a half. Cost is $ 10.00 plus tax. Call or come by the store to pay in advance. Seating is limited. This is a 1 time only demo and you won't want to miss it. Hope to see a lot of familiar faces

Showcasing a wooden fence with flowers, silver weathered watering can with flowers and cement decorative garden pot along with a few surprises.....get ready for a ton of techniques such as painting, metal effects, and textured Royal Icing from wood grain to brush embroidery!

You will learn the basics of lining, flooding your cookies. Do’s and Dont’s when preparing and handling your cookies. Tips and tricks to storing icing. You will learn about different consistencies and the proper one for certain techniques. You will learn how to achieve beautiful designs with layering techniques and painting with silver. Student Fee: $175 (payment plans available, email rachelnoelsugarartclasses@yahoo.com to request a payment plan. A nonrefundable deposit of $50 is due up front by purchasing a “deposit ticket” through Eventbrite)
2 ticket choices:
“Deposit” ticket $50 Non-refundable will hold your spot. You will then need to request a payment plan by emailing me using the email listed above. Total balance is due 2 weeks prior to event date.

“Student” ticket is full price $175 ($50 of the $175 is non-refundable if you need to cancel for any reason up to 2 weeks prior to event. If canceling in less than two weeks prior to event date the whole amount is forfeited)!

Glitter and Ruffles Cake Class

Students will learn basic Fondant techniques from kneading, rolling out dough, to cutting and glueing ruffles to cake. Along with basic principles of gumpaste and how to manipulate it into beautiful light airy flower petals. Constructing a nice full pink peony from start to finish. We will also cover a full tier in metallic silver glitter/sequins. All these techniques will be applied to a 2 tier dummy cake that can last a very very long time. Making it a great show piece to show case your skills for years to comes.

You will also learn how to assemble a cookie structure and learn how to transport it!
